Mother 4: Shadow of the Pig King is a cancelled scratch project.
It featured Clyde, a 15 year old, in the world of Ryton.

¶ PLOT (spoilers! well i guess it doesn't mean anything its cancelled)
CHAPTER 1: The world of MOTHER 4
Location: Clyde's parents farm / Ryton City
Party: Clyde / Clyde's unnamed brother
Plot: Return to an abandoned city near to the farm. Get your brother to help you investigate the ruins and find a ripped notebook with a front page saying "PSI for dummies". Find flint searching the ruins for something and then return to your farm.
CHAPTER 2: An Oddity
Location: Ryton City / Surrounding forest / Mount Itoi
Party: Clyde, Clyde's unnamed brother (First half)
Plot: During further expeditions into the city, some strange creatures are found. (NOT chimeras yet, rather "proto-chimera" like animals with metal limbs. Not full on like in MOTHER 3, but strange enough to spook interest. The brother returns home, while Clyde continues up Mount Itoi. He makes it halfway up until he sees a ruined base with the markings "TOP SECRET: PROJECT CHIMERA" written on it.
CHAPTER 3: Project Chimera
Location: Project Chimera base
Party: Clyde, Flint in the 2nd half
Plot: Clyde returns to the city to get supplies, while sending his brother home to tell their mother that Clyde will be out. He makes it up to the ruined base, where Flint is waiting for him. They both go inside, and after descending many floors, they find a lot of locked up or dead chimeras, with a message from the "Pig King". He picks it up and will read it later. The front reads: OFFICIAL NOTICE: PROJECT CHIMERA CHANCELLED. They journey deeper, until having to battle the first major boss: MechaPig. It's an unstable, powerful, chimera. They beat it and escape.
CHAPTER 4: Clyde's Last Stand
Location: Deepest Project Chimera base
Party: Clyde, Flint
Plot: Clyde and Flint are exploring deeper in the base, looking at notes left by employees trying to work out what is the project, when they see the power room. One of the reactors is still running, and it is dangerously close to meltdown. If it explodes, it could take out all of the ruins of Ryton and his parent's farm. Clyde stays behind while Flint escapes. Seconds after Flint escapes, the base collapses in on itself. Flint returns to the surface, and Clyde is assumed dead. Flint starts running towards the farm, and he disappears offscreen

CHAPTER 5: A White Ship
Location: Ryton Village
Party: Flint, Guests
Plot: It is 3 years after the disappearance of Clyde, and Ryton has been destroyed. A violent earthquake, possibly caused by Project Chimera, has caused the city to be wrecked, and the citizens are preparing to depart to the only safe place left, a few islands in the ocean named the Nowhere Islands. Run around the ruins of Ryton, picking up NPC's and taking them to the departure place of the White Ship. Once you bring everyone, some in hard to reach places, you can depart. The last character you pick up is Hinawa.
CHAPTER 6: The world of MOTHER 3
Location: White Ship Party: Flint, Mr Saturn Plot: Run around the white ship chasing the Mr Saturn. Find the group of Mr Saturns being tended to by Hinawa, and they meet again. Leder calls a roll call, and discusses the plan to wipe memories and only leave a few people with PSI. At the end, you wash up on the Nowhere Islands.
CHAPTER 7: No crying until the end. (Epilogue)
Location: Nowhere Islands
Party: Flint, Hinawa (Short)
Plot: Flint and Hinawa (holding hands) leave the White Ship together, and a panning shot of a wide, open plateau is shown. Flint asks what should we call the village. Hinawa replies "Tranquility". Flint mishears it as "Tazmily". Fade to black
